hardly fathom the thinking of the Leinster Council in fixing Dublin’s Leinster quarter-final against Wicklow for Portlaoise. It was a rare and wonderful opportunity to take the All-Ireland champions to Aughrim, and in the process ensure that Wicklow would have a day to remember. Instead, the extra few euros are deemed to be of more value. How sad.
