IRELAND’S Got Talent has just booked the nation’s biggest pop act Picture This to perform at the show’s grand final in April.

According to a senior show insider, a number of big acts have been signed up to pull in viewers on Virgin Media One when IGT goes live on March 30th.

‘There are four live shows that will run over two weekends and there are four major acts to wow the public,’ the source said.

‘We have a big act from the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and some big international names, but the biggest coup for the show, definitely, is booking Picture This. They are in major demand and for them to sign up to IGT gives the show a real boost. We are really proud of this and it will make for one amazing live final.’

The Co. Kildare band is playing five sold-out nights at the 3Arena in March before their appearance on Ireland’s Got Talent on Sunday, April 7.

While the five nights are huge events, the band went a step further this week and launched their new album MDRN LV with a special performance from the top of The Empire State Building in New York.

MDRN LV is the second album from the group, following on from their incredibly successful self-titled 2017 debut.

Meanwhile, Ireland Got Talent fans were treated to an exciting third show last night when five young boys from Cavan stole the show as a Daniel O’Donnell tribute act. The Wee Daniels – Finn Dolan, nine, Robert Johnston, 13, Jack O’Sullivan, 12, Rian Sheridan, nine, and David Rubotham, nine – won over the four judges with Louis Walsh saying: ‘I think Daniel would be mad not to bring them on tour.’
