SINGER Una Healy will be one of the cooking competitors on Virgin One’s new season of The Restaurant, the Irish Mail on Sunday can reveal.

And her first appearance on Irish TV since her break-up may signal a more permanent move to these shores, sources believe.

Una will be cooking for the diners and celebrity critics at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant in Donnybrook.

She was spotted this week heading to the Dublin 4 restaurant with her apron in hand to film for the show.

Una’s appearance on the show is also a chance for her to bolster her resumé as she is eyeing up new TV opportunities.

Sources have told the Irish Mail on Sunday that the Saturdays singer is considering a move back home from Britain after her break-up from her husband, Ben Foden.

Una, from Tipperary, now feels ‘isolated’ in her Northampton home, the sources reveal. She is living there with her two children from her marriage to Ben, Aoife Belle, six,

‘Everything has to be right for the children’

and Tadgh, four.

A source said: ‘She loves her house but she is feeling a little isolated where she is. She is ready for change and is considering all of her options.

‘But everything has to be right for the children – they are her main priority.’

The singer is also sure to be considering her new relationship. Una’s new man, David Breen, commutes between Limerick and London.

Breen works as a physiotherapist for rugby club Wasps and he also plays for the Limerick hurling side as he commutes for training and matches.

Una began dating David after the very public marriage split.

Una and Ben announced last July that they were to go their separate ways after six years of marriage following allegations that Ben had cheated with PR worker Becky Milne.

Since splitting from Ben Una has thrown herself into work and her career.

She has enjoyed some guest slots hosting The Six O’clock Show on Virgin Media; she is also a regular on ITV’s Loose Women. Earlier this month it was announced that she had landed a weekend presenting job with Country Hits Radio, a UK station.

She is still working on her solo music career, recently releasing a new single. Contacted this week, a spokesman for Ms Healy failed to respond.
