AS THE son of flamboyant motorsport millionaire Eddie Jordan it is perhaps in his genes that Zak Jordan would be partial to a party, or even two, it seems.

Economics graduate Zak and his wife Gráinne Quinn had a second helping of nuptials last week when they said their ‘I Dos’ again in sundrenched South Africa.

The couple, who have been Mr & Mrs Jordan for over four months after a low-key Irish winter wedding, have thrown a wild bash in Cape Town as they once again said their vows.

The wedding certainly looked spectacular and laid-back in equal measure – in keeping with the couple’s style. Embracing the hot weather the not-so-newlyweds were married outdoors in a ceremony overlooking the Cape.

Gorgeous bride Gráinne opted for a faux sheer dress with fitted crochet bodice, spaghetti straps and kick-skirt. She teamed it with a floor-skimming veil.

Groom Zak, 31, looked dapper in a vibrant blue suit with an oversized claret bow tie.

The lively after-party had a ‘touch of Africa’ theme with lots of colourful tribal fashion and even scantily clad performers sporting head-to-toe animal-print body paint.

And Zak’s sister, designer Zoe Jordan, kitted out some of the entourage in her eclectic colourful couture.

His father Eddie appeared to be still loving life in the fast lane. His leopard-print T-shirt, teamed with white shorts, loafers, a bright headscarf and round sunglasses ensured that the motorsport mogul was not overtaken in the fashion stakes.

Also enjoying the nuptials were a large coterie of friends and family including his mother Marie and siblings Zoe, Miki and Kyle.

Socialite David Murphy and his model girlfriend Laura Scanlon, who now live in Cape Town, were also pictured joining in the celebrations.

Cape Town holds a special significance for Zak and Gráinne as it was here that they officially decided to spend the rest of their lives together after dating for a number of years. It was New Year’s Eve 2017 when Zak popped the question to Gráinne on a mountain top overlooking Cape Town.

In pictures posted on Instagram Gráinne looked thrilled as she posed with Zak and showed off her sparkler.

As we previously reported Zak and Gráinne first married in a quirky ceremony in a Waterford museum in December.

Family and friends joined them for the nuptials in Waterford’s Medieval Museum, with Gráinne mixing the traditional with modern as she wore a slinky white silk gown teamed with white block-heel boots; she also donned a winter warming jacket to keep out the December chill.

Not to be outdone in the style stakes, Zak opted for a light grey check suit and purple tie.

The newlyweds paused for a picture outside Jordan’s pub in Waterford with a pint of Guinness to toast their nuptials.

Apparently Zak dabbled in modelling when he was in college but he ditched the catwalk to focus on his economics studies, perhaps to follow in his father’s footsteps. Eddie started out in finance but left his secure Bank of Ireland job in 1974 to pursue fame and fortune on the motorsport circuit.

He funded the Jordan F1 team and quickly became one of Ireland’s wealthiest men – his estimated worth is over €475m.
