This special programme is an interview with Angela Lansbury, the now 94-year-old star who has appeared in over 60 films. In 2016 she spoke to Aedín Gormley in a public interview at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre as part of the Dublin International Film Festival. In an incredible career, Angela experienced the glory days of Hollywood in her early film roles in the likes of Gaslight and The Picture Of Dorian Grey. As a Broadway leading lady she was hugely impressive in Mame and Sweeney Todd, moving on then to the hugely successful TV series Murder, She Wrote, in which she played Jessica Fletcher.
