How the gangs raided beyond border regions

ANTRIM April 30, 2019 ATM Robbery VIRGINA, CO. CAVAN August 14, 2019 ATTEMPTED ATM raid, gardaí intervened while a digger was being used to rip an ATM from a wall and recovered €300,000. Three men believed to part of a cross-border gang were subsequently arrested. DUNLEER, CO. LOUTH November 16, 2019 ATTEMPTED ATM robbery on Main St at 3.30am. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the incident in which a stolen digger was used. Gardaí believe a cross-border gang may have been responsible. FINTONA, CO. TYRONE March 10, 2019 A CASH machine at Cabragh filling station on Ballygawley Road near Dungannon was ripped out and thieves escaped with the ATM. The digger used in the robbery was later set alight. BALLYNAHINCH, CO. DOWN November 18, 2019 THE canopy of a petrol station was torn down as thieves used a digger to try to rip an ATM out of Carlisle’s filling station on the Belfast Road. It came after a weekend in which another ATM was stolen from a health centre south of Belfast and from Belfast City Hospital.
