LOCKDOWN QUIZ SPECIAL

Philip Nolan turns quizmaster to keep you and your family entertained during lockdown. No cheating, now…

-

FAMILIES all over the country, and relatives far beyond, are getting together online every week for pub quizzes, since the real thing is not an option right now. So if you’re planning one later, why not try these teasers compiled by PHILIP

NOLAN, with a guest round from Dan O’Malley, Ireland’s sole surviving contender for the Brain Of Quarantine title!

HOW TO PLAY

GET your family or friends together, either through the Zoom (zoom.us) or Houseparty (houseparty.com) websites or apps.

Each couple, family or individual self-isolating should download the app and sign in together to the same meeting or house ‘party’ (ask a young person to help you if you’re not sure!).

Nominate a quizmaster to read out the questions. Each ‘team’, made up of an individual household, should write down their answers to each ten-question round, numbering them carefully. At the end of the quiz, the quizmaster reads out the answers and each team does its own marking. Anyone who cheats will be banished from the family forever!

One point per question, with a maximum score of 70.
