SUCCESSFUL CROSSOVERS
ANDREW CONWAY
A schools star for Blackrock College, Andrew Conway made the shock decision to move to Munster in 2013. The 28-yearold wing has flourished at the province in recent years and recently signed a contract extension to remain at Thomond Park until July 2023.
SEAN CRONIN
Frustrated with a lack of gametime at Munster, the Limerickborn hooker signed for Connacht in 2008 before Joe Schmidt lured him to Leinster in the summer of 2011. Now 34, Cronin has been a mainstay in the Leinster pack ever since, making 181 appearances for the province to date.
FELIX JONES
Dublin-born full-back left Leinster to join Munster in 2008 and went on to make 90 appearances for the province despite suffering two serious neck injuries during his time there. Following his retirement in 2015, Jones would move into a coaching role with Munster before joining Rassie Erasmus’ World Cup-winning Springboks coaching ticket last year.
EOIN REDDAN
Struggling to break through at his native Munster, Eoin Reddan made the move to Wasps in 2005 and flourished with the English Premiership outfit. Leinster came calling for the scrum-half’s services in 2009 and he would make a huge impact at the province, starting the back-to-back Heineken Cup triumphs in 2011 and 2012.
MIKE ROSS
Cork-born tighthead’s talents were not recognised at Munster, so he sought pastures new with Harlequins. A renowned scrummager, Michael Cheika brought him to Leinster in 2009, but Ross flourished under the tutelage of Joe Schmidt when the New Zealander took over as head coach the following season.
