Stylish Cat Cavelli purring over new career makeover
SINGER Cat Cavelli has undergone a career makeover with the launch of her own new fashion venture.
The stylish Co. Tipperary woman – whose real name is Catherine Harding – is sharing her fashion knowledge through her eponymous enterprise.
Launching her budding fashion makeover business in Phoenix Style – a trendy resale boutique located in the English town of Cobham – she said on social media: ‘My new baby is born – Cat Cavelli Curates.
‘Helping women find their style and become the best version of themselves gives me so much satisfaction and bringing out that inner
confidence that we all have inside of us.’
The 33-year-old mother – who is engaged to the Arsenal and Italian star Joginho – first came to public attention when she appeared on RTÉ’s You’re A Star programme at the age of 17.
The fresh-faced hopeful was then living in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary, and appeared on the show wearing a flowing, white floral frock.
While she didn’t win, Harding impressed the judges with her vocal abilities and, having caught the showbiz bug, headed for London.
Shortly after moving to England, she became involved in a relationship with Hollywood star Jude
Law. At the time, Ms Harding was working as a makeup artist on the movie Spy, in which Law played the lead role and the starry-eyed couple enjoyed a six-week romance while on location in the Czech Republic.
While their dalliance was short-lived, Cat discovered she was pregnant and in May 2015 she gave birth to their daughter Ada.
Five years later, Ms Harding returned to the stage, appearing on the UK series of The Voice, where she won rave reviews for her rendition of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ I Put A Spell On You.
And she clearly put a spell on her footballer fiancé, who she met around the same time. In September 2020, they announced the birth of their son Jax.
