INFLUENCER Jessica O’Mahony this week took to Instagram to reveal that she uses Botox to help her look her best
Solicitor Jessica, who is married to Irish rugby international Peter O’Mahony, has amassed a considerable online following as she documents her fashion choices and lifestyle.
And despite many celebrities attributing their flawless complexion to nothing but Evian water and regular facials, O’Mahony was refreshingly frank about her use of the injected chemical to look good.
The Cork mother-of-three revealed her age-defying Botox beauty regime on her social platforms.
Taking to Instagram this week, she gave a full
‘I did them now as they take two weeks to kick in’
appraisal of her Botox and Profhilo jabs with pictures to showcase her post-jab visage.
‘Just did a round of Botox and Profhilo,’ she revealed to her followers.
‘I personally love this combo (and yes you can do both on the same day)
‘I did them now as they can take two weeks to kick in. Some people have mixed views on Profhilo but I have always found it very good.
‘The key with skin care/treatments is time and consistency plus a mix of different treatments – in my view.’
And she also invited her followers to contact her should they require any further details, saying: ‘Any questions on these. I’ll try to answer them x.’
Profhilo is a relatively new non-invasive cosmetic procedure favoured by the A-list set.
The treatment involves hyaluronic acid being injected ‘beneath the skin’.
It promises users a prolonged stimulating activity on the collagen and elastin, which results in a significant tightening and lifting effect on the tissue.
The treatment supposedly helps regenerate the youthfulness of the tissue, boosts and hydrates the skin and promises to remodel ageing and sagging skin.
The preferred regime is to inject the Profhilo into 10 areas of the face over two visits a month apart.
It can also be used on the neck and hands.
O’Mahony spent the summer trekking back and forth to France to support her flanker husband in the Rugby World Cup.
The dedicated fan may have added a few furrows to her brow as her expression went from ecstasy to anguish as she took in the fiercely fought matches.
The couple – who have been together for 10 years and have three children, Indie,
Ralph Ruben and Theo – finally got to have their dream wedding bash in beautiful Aix-en-Provence, in
France, last September.
Jessica and the former Munster captain had previously tied the knot in July 2020 in a low key, intimate lockdown ceremony in their back garden.
