Lewis swaps Niall for Pat and Cat as he moves into plush mansion

- By Emily Prescott

CHART topper Lewis Capaldi has swapped one Irish neighbour for another.

The singer has splashed out on a London mansion next door to television power couple Patrick Kielty and

Cat Deeley – having previously lived beside One Direction star Niall Horan.

The Someone You Loved crooner has bought a house for £3 million (€3.5 million) in Hampstead, North London, where it seems every neighbour is a famous face.

He previously lived in a plush apartment in Battersea, South-West London close to Mullingar man Horan.

Patrick, 53, and Cat, 47, bought a huge mansion in

Hampstead for £4.9 million last year. Cat and Pat are renovating the house and currently live nearby with their two sons Milo, seven, and five-year-old James. Another former One Direction heart-throb, singer Harry Styles, also lives in the area. A source close to Lewis said: ‘He and Harry are both superstars who surely will at some point go to war in the charts with their music yet they literally live on one another’s doorsteps. ‘You can only imagine what the conversation is when they bump into one another. Lewis is super friendly to all of the neighbours and is really enjoying living in the area, it is really quite different to where he grew up.

‘It’s such a beautiful area and really not cheap, it just shows you how much money he has made in a relatively short time.’

Lewis last year took time out for his mental health after cancelling tour dates due to his ongoing battle with Tourette’s.

Lewis also has a £1.6m (€1.9m) home on the outskirts of Glasgow, the city where he was born. When he was four he moved to East Whitburn in West Lothian with his family.
