TIDY TOWNS

The Fun Run /Walk held on Sunday 28th by the Tidy Town group was a great success. A lot of locals including many that were home in the parish for the holiday period took part, as did others from the greater North Kerry area .It was a great social occasion with people gathering in the parish hall for refreshmen­ts & a chat afterwards. The Tidy Town group wish to thank the local community for its continued support.

RAMBLING HOUSE

BEREAVEMEN­T

Sincerest sympathy is extended to the Stack Family Tullahinel­l and New York on the death of Patrick Stack R.I.P. grandson of the late Peter Stack. Sympathy is also extended to Martin Flaherty & Family of Lenamore on the passing of his brother Seamus who died peacefully on Sunday 14th December last. Sympathy is also extended to Elenor Kelly and Family Rusheen on the sad passing of her brother Michael (Bunny) Dalton R.I.P. of Askeaton and formally of Listowel who passed away lat weekend. LENAMORE N.S.

The annual Christmas mass was held in S.N. Léana Mhóir Thursday night. The mass was celebrated by Fr. Kennelly. Afterwards the children entertaine­d all present with music, songs and poems. But the highlight of the night was the nativity play- Hosanna Rock. A sincere thank you to the Parents Associatio­n for providing the delicious food. It was a most enjoyable and happy occasion. The prize winners of the Grand Christmas Draw are as follows:
