While going three points to nil up in the opening five minutes, it was St. Pats who went on to dominate midfield and the scores began to mount up leaving them 1-12 to 1-6 ahead at half time. In the opening five minutes of the second half St. Pats had the ball in the net twice thereby opening up a commanding lead which they maintained to the final whistle. SENIOR NOVICE CHAMPIONSH­IP: Kilgarvan 3-12 Ballylongf­ord 1-17 Ballylongf­ord went out of the Novice Championsh­ip after a tough battle away to Kilgarvan which went to extra time. Kilgarvan not having played in the County League were slow to get into their stride and Ballylongf­ord went four points to nil up while playing against a fresh breeze. Kilgarvan opened their account with a pointed free in the 14th minute and went on to dominate the second quarter with two goals from Adrian Sean O’Sullivan and a third from Shane O’Sullivan.
