LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB: Causeway Ladies Football team will play John Mitchells on Friday 24th April at 7.00 (Venue: unknown) in the County League (Div. 3) Final. The team have made great progress during the recent league matches but the step up to a higher division is difficult and John Mitchells have a very young and talented team with underage county players on their team. This might be a bridge too far for the Causeway ladies. GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Saturday night’s GAA Lotto: 2-6-19-21. The Jackpot of €5,600 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be €5,650. The two €50 winners were: Colin Cantillon, Dreenagh and Kitty O’Halloran, Ballinclemesig. The €25 winner was Ed Lucid (Snr.), Tiershanahan. UNDER 16s: The U-16 hurlers were defeated by St. Brendan’s in the Co. League and they also lost to Lixnaw in a back game in the Co. League. SENIORS: The senior hurlers were most unlucky to lose by two points to Kilmoyley on Saturday evening in the Co.League. Final score Ballyheigue 0-15 and Kilmoyley 0-17. FIXTURES: Co. U-14 football league Ballyheigue v Duagh this Wednesday evening at John Joe O’Sullivan Park at 7.30pm. Co U-12 hurling league Ballyheigue v Abbeydorney Friday evening at Abbeydorney at 7.00pm; and the Ballyheigue ‘B’ will play Causeway at John Joe O’Sullivan Park Friday evening 7.00pm. The Feile U-14 hurling commence on Saturday morning at Kilmoyley. The following are the fixtures: 11.00am (Game 1) Ballyheigue v Kilmoyley; 12.00 noon (Game 2) Ballyheigue v Ballyduff; 1.00pm (Game 3) Ballyduff v Kilmoyley. Two teams will qualify for the Q-final.
