Uncertainty reigns in Premier A title race

-

ALL six League divisions are now reaching the concluding stages with a number of sides already through to the finals. UNCERTAINTY prevails in with a real dog fight to see who will make it to the decider with three teams in a titanic struggle to see who will secure those two coveted places.

Reigning champions Castleisland, last year’s beaten finalists Listowel Celtic and Munster Junior Cup finalists Tralee Dynamos are in the mix and one side will lose out where it may go to the final series of games to decide who will come through.

At present Tralee Dynamos top the table with 35 points from 16 games and can reach 41 points.

Castleisand are in a strong position, three points behind them with a game in hand with the potential of also ending on 41 points. Listowel Celtic are three points adrift of Castleisland with 29 points from 14 games so their best final tally is also 41. Castleisland and Tralee Dynamos have the advantage as they have the points on the board and there will be pressure on Listowel Celtic and to win their games in hand. Listowel and Castleisland clash at Pat Kennedy Park next Sunday in a hugely important game for both sides. It promises to be a fascinating conclusion to this division. FENIT Samphires are as good as through to the final after a great season. Mastergeeha are favourites to join them as they have games in hand but they will have to win a good few to make sure. Ballymac Galaxy have an outside chance but they require

Mastergeeha to have a few slips-ups. Castleisland B are already in the final here and it is between Castlegregory and Skeliga to see who will join them. Castlegregory have 27 points from 14 games and their best tally is 37 points. Skeliga are on 26 points but they have six games in hand and if they win these they can reach 44 points. THREE teams are battling it out here and it will be close between Listowel Celtic, CG Killarney and perhaps Athletico Ardfert. Celtic are top of the table a point ahead of CG and can reach 37 points. CG Killarney have a game in hand and can get a possible 36 points. The big danger to both sides are Atletico Ardfert who are six points behind CG with three games in hand and can reach 39 points.
