UNDER-16

Our under-16 team recently played two games in their County League. First match was away to Castlegregory. On a wet and windy night Currow proved to have the upper edge and went on to win on a score line of Currow 6-07 to Castlegregorys 2-15. In the next game Austin Stacks were Currows opponents and on the day an under strength Currow team were defeated on a score line of Currow 3-12 to Austin Stacks 6-12. Their next game will be against Austin Stacks in the County League semi-final and this is due to be played on Friday, August 19, at 7 p.m. in Currow.

Under-14s: On Monday, August 15, Currow were to play Spa, Killarney in the first round of the East Kerry League, on the night Spa were unable to field a team which meant Currow received the victory. Currow now progress to the next round of the Championship where the opposition will be Firies, this game will be played on Monday, August 22, in Currow starting at 6.45 p.m.

UNDER-11S

Currows under-11 team recently played two matches in their East Kerry League, starting off with Scartaglin on Thursday last in Scartaglin. On the night Currow proved to have the upper edge on their neighbours and went on to win on a scoreline of Currow 3-08 to Scartaglins 3-05. On Monday, August 15, Currow welcomed Listry, in a very close and even contest. Listry went on to win on a score line of Listry 5-12 to Currows 5-10. Their final game of the competition will be against Kilgarvan-Tousist on Sunday, August 17, at midday in Kilgarvan.
