Lighting of the Annascaul Christmas Tree On 17th of December at 4.30 pm the Falvey sisters, Lily and Hannah will ceremonial­ly light up the Annascaul village Christmas tree on behalf of the Annascaul Tidy Towns Action Group. Donated by the Courtney Brothers the tree will mark not only the start of the festive season locally. So do don your Santy hat on the 17th and come along for the lighting up and sing a few carols. Celebrate Annascaul and help light up the future of the village for everyone and especially the children who will be represente­d on the night by Lily and Hannah.

LIGHTING UP OF TREE

Annascaul Tidy Towns Action Group will host the lighting up of the village Christmas tree outside the Annascaul Community Centre at 4.30pm on Saturday 17th December. The actual switching on of the lights will be carried out by guests of honour, local children Lily and Hannah Falvey. Everyone is welcome to come along, sing carols and enjoy the start of Annascaul Christmas 2016.

Congratula­tions to the Other Voices festival which took place in Dingle last weekend and to CCE craobh an Aghasaigh members who helped with the festival. It was brilliant to hear so much great music around the town of Dingle and to be so busy at this time of year. Well done to all involved!

Cce Craobh an Aghasaigh Christmas concert will take place in Ballintagg­art House at 5pm on Sunday 18th of December. All welcome!!
