Places in the Cup second round booked
IN the Killorglin A were 4-0 winners over Tralee Dynamos with the goals coming from John Burke, John Touhy, Jack Lynch and Dara O’Connell.
The final four places in the second round of the has seen Inter Kenmare, Tralee Dynamos, Park B and Ballyheigue going through.
Shane Horgan scored for Listowel Celtic C but it wasn’t enough as they went down 4-1 to Inter Kenmare. Double goals from Alex Hoare, Liam Reilly and Andy Rogers saw Tralee Dynamos progress 6-3 at home to Iveragh United. Cian Murphy, Sean Kennedy and Alex Coffey got the goals for the South Kerry boys.
The Park B were too strong for Killarney Athletic B and two hat tricks from Ciallian Murphy and Mark Sheehan and a goal each from Cain O’Neill and Cian O’Shea saw them into the hat.
In mid-week Ballyheigue just got past Castleisland 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller. A Feilim O’Sullivan hat trick and goals from Oisin O’Regan and Dylan Godley were
Killarney Celtic defeated Listowel Celtic who dropped their first points of the season. Listowel opened the scoring and led 1-0 at half time but Elizabeth Coffey equalised early in the second half and Aideen O’Brien scored a cracking winner from a free kick. just enough to see the North Kerry boy’s progress. Alex Kapp, Alvaro Marquez and Ryan Dennehy scored for Castleisland.
Killarney Celtic A are into the next round of the Healy Family U-15 Cup as they got past St Bernard’s 6-0. The goals came from Neil O’Shea, Ryan O’Grady, James Darmody, Joe Rudden, Jack McCarthy and Terry Sparling.
In the two goals from Sean McGrath and one from JK Tishiksto were enough to see The Park defeat Ballyhar Dynamos. Listowel Celtic B won 6-1 away to Asdee for whom Conor Twomey scored. Conor Hogan, Ted Moloney, Robert Foley, Michael Nolan, Ronan O’Neill and Mike Fogarty all got themselves on the score-sheet in Listowel Celtic B’s win.
Killarney Celtic progressed in mid-week thanks to goals from Ryan Kelliher (2) and Evan Lyne in a 3-1 win over Mastergeeha. Paul O’Shea got their goal.
Shane O’Sullivan scored twice in Killorglin’s 2-1 win over Listowel Celtic. Cian McGrath got their goal.
Mastergeeha girls made it two wins from two in the U-14 Premier. Anna Hennihgan was in unstoppable form hitting five with Leah Burke and Abbey O’Leary scoring one each.
Listowel Celtic made it two wins from two in the U-16 Premier with a 3-0 win over Killarney Celtic.
Killorglin added another three points and continue to top the table in the Daly’s Supervalu U-13 Premier. They had goals from Adam Owens (2), Tom Whittleton and Jack O’Sullivan in a 4-1 win over Killarney Athletic. Hugh O’Malley got the goal for the Woodlawn side.
U-13 DIVISION 1
Ballyhar added three important points to their total in a hard fought 3-2 win over Mastergeeha. James Horan scored twice and Colin Callaghan once in the win with Oisin O’Leary and Mark O’Shea getting the goals for the Kilbrean side.
U-13 DIVISION 2
With Killarney Celtic B not playing Ballyheigue took full advantage to move two points ahead of them in U-13 Division 2. Feilim O’Sullivan scored twice and Dylan Godley once in the win.
An Eddie McCarthy hat trick and a goal from David Dineen saw leaders Fenit again, defeating LB Rovers 4-1. Jack Mallon scored the goal for LB Rovers.
U-14 DIVISION 1
Inter Kenmare have moved into second place in the Foundation Sports U-14 Division 1 after a 6-1 win over Park B. Corey Murphy hit a hat trick which were added to by goals from Kevin O’Shea, Tadgh O’Donoghue and Oisin Fox in the win.
U-15 DIVISION 1
Camp Juniors had a 3-0 midweek win in the Killarney Plaza U-15 Division 1 which sees them take the lead in the Division. Cian O’Grady, Der Hickson and Caolin O’Connell scored for Camp Juniors.
Killorglin were pushed all the way by Ballyheigue but got the three points they needed to close the gap on the two sides above them. A Gearoid Hassett hat trick was just enough to get them over the line in a 3-2 win with Conor O’Sullivan and Nathan Guerin replying for Ballyheigue.
U-15 DIVISION 2
Rattoo Rovers lead the way in the U-15 Division 2 and their latest three points came after a 3-0 win over Killarney Celtic B.
Dylan Moriarty, Kevin Goulding – who did a David Beckham and scored from the half way line – and Evan McCarthy were the Rattoo scorers.
Castleisand staying in touch with a win over Park C. Connie O’Connor, Adam Joy, Chris Roche, Hugo Turkiovic and Dylan Curtin got the Castleisland goals.
U-12 PREMIER
In the JK Sports U-12 Premier Mastergeeha B and Park A shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Both sides in reality needed the full points.
