Celtic do double over Park

MORIARTY’S CENTRA UNDER 11

IN the latest range of the Under 11 Grading Competitio­n the same sides met in the Premier and Division 2.

Killarney Celtic A and B did the double over the Park A and B. For the Celtic A’s Josh Bowler hit 3, James Moynihan 2 and Mark Daly 2. Ciaran Kavanagh and Jack Slattery got the goals for the Park.

In the Division 2 clash Jason O’Reliiy hit three with Padraig O’Donoghue and Cian Purcell getting one each for Celtic while Justin O’Sullivan 2 and Ryan O’Driscoll got the goals for the Park.

Killorglin defeated Castleisla­nd in both games winning 6-0 and 7-3.

Killarney Athletic were also winners in both Divisions defeating Camp Juniors. The Premier side finished 8-4 to the Killarney side with Fionn Dario and Mark Farrell both scoring twice from Camp.

In Division 1 Dingle Bay Rovers took the win 5-3 against Inter Kenmare. Cathal Kelleher, Barry Fitzsimons and Zack O’Shea were on the mark for Inter. LB Rovers went down 6-4 to Tralee Dynamos with Leigh Meehan 2, Daithi Tyrrell and Michael Houlihan scoring for Rovers.

IT finished all square between Mastergeeh­a B and Killorglin B with Kieran Nagle getting the goal for the Kilbrean side. The point moves Mastergeeh­a level with Tralee Dynamos in third place, only one behind MEK. Killorglin remain a point behind them.

A Tara Desmond goal was enough to Inter Kenmare a 1-0 win in their game against Camp Juniors. Inter had good performanc­es from Helena O’Donoghue, Chloe Cremin and Kate O’Connor with Eabha Lyne the best player for Camp.
