MEENKILLY CARD GAME

Next week’s card game is in aid of the Men’s Shed Abbeyfeale, commencing at 9.15pm sharp. Loads of spot prizes on the night. Here are the results of last week’s card game: The winners with 14 games were Jackie Harnett, John Quirke and Pat Fitzgerald. Runners-up with 13 games were Marian Quirke, Dixie Quirke and Donal O Connor.

FUNDRAISER­S FOR ACC

Bank of Ireland as part of their sponsorshi­p of the Abbeyfeale Expo have offered to match the first €1,000 raised by the ACC so your support for the following fundraiser­s would be much appreciate­d. GOOD FRIDAY CLEAN UP

Following on from the roaring successes of the Team Limerick Clean-Up and TLC 2, we are delighted to announce that the clean-up, will take place again this year on Good Friday, April 14. Abbeyfeale parish were fantastic last year at TLC 2 and played such massive part in the event and we are hoping that you will once again be represente­d. AFTERNOON TEA DANCING

The Wednesday Club are hosting an Afternoon Tea Dance in Fr. Casey’s Clubhouse on Sunday, April 9 from 3- 6 pm with dancing to Paddy Qulligan. All funds will go to the Air Ambulance service. Tickets are now on sale from committee members including Mary Mc Arthur and Madeline O’Connor.
