Renard to host La na gClub parade
LA na gClub will take place for all South Kerry clubs on Sunday May 7 in Renard GAA Grounds. Programme of events are as follows: 2pm - Parade of all South Kerry Coiste na nOg Clubs around the Renard Field to celebrate 50 years of Coiste na nOg in Kerry. Please get all children from you club to tog out in their clubs colours & also bring your club banner, flags etc. 2.30pm - U10 go games blitz for all clubs. 3.45 - Athletics U12 boys & girls relays, u10 boys & girls repays, u8 100m boys & girls race, u6 boys & girls race & tiny tots race. 4.45pm - Presentation of particaption medals to all Children. 5pm - Launch of Quinlans Seafood & Bars South Kerry coaching & Development Academy. THE County Skiils Finals took place last Thursday April 20 in Cahersalee Tralee.
A big congrats to South Kerry Board Winners St Michaels / Foilmore who came joint third in the county with the team made up of Oisin O Sullivan, Luke Cathain, and Mikey Kavanagh.
The South Kerry Primary Schools UCan Skills took place last Wednesday in Con Keating Park Caherssiveen. All schools took part with the skill level very high.
The winners were Scoil Bhreanin Portmagee with Team of Aaron O Sullivan, Darren Reardon, and Cian O’Sullivan. Indivual Topscorer went to Emmet Daly Valentia N.S. All will go forward to County Finals on Friday May 12. Congratulations to all who took part, teachers, and parents.
A big thank you to Colaiste Na Sceilige TY Students Jack Curran, Iarla O Shea, Georgia O Dwyer, Ian Moriarty and Ellen O Sullivan who were scorekeepers on the day, PJ Reidy GDA South/Mid Kerry who Co-ordinated the event, and also St Marys for the use of the grounds and facilities THIS year’s South Kerry U-10 Go Games is hosted by Renard.
The First Day of Go Games takes place on Sunday May 7 in Renard GAA Club to tie in with La na club day. All clubs asked to be in attendance at 2pm sharp. All other dates for Blitzs are as follows:
Monday 15, Monday 22 and Monday, May 29 all with a 7pm start.
