KILEENAGH HOLY WELL

The Rosary will be recited at the Holy Well in Kileenagh each Friday evening during Mary’s Month - May. If it’s too far for you to travel to there is also a rosary recited every weekday evening at 7.30pm in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and in the main Church every Saturday evening at 6.30opm before the Vigil Mass. FATIMA NOVENA

The Legion of Mary and the Adoration Committee are inviting you to join them in a 9 day Novena of rosaries to Our lady of Fatima beginning on Thursday May 4 and ending on Friday May 12 . Rosary begins each evening @ 7.30pm in Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Fr Tony will celebrate Mass in honour of our Lady on her feast day Saturday May 13@ 11am.

ALZHEIMER’S TEA DAY

Eileen O’Brien, Bridge Street will host her annual Tea Day in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland on Monday, May 8 from 2pm to 6pm. All are welcome.

DARKNESS INTO LIGHT

This year’s walk/run takes place in Newcastle West on Saturday, May 6 at 4 am, starting at The Desmond Complex (new venue) Gortboy. Seniors, Students (aged 16 & upwards) and unwaged €15. Children under 16 can register free but if they want a T-shirt it will cost €3.50. Groups of 5 or more can avail of a 20% discount. You can also register online at dil.pieta.ie You can register on Friday, May 5 at The Red Door Newcastle West from 4 pm to 9 pm. Late registrati­ons also taken at the Complex on the night. FEILE FUNDRAISER

Please donate your unwanted clothes & textiles to raise funds for Fr. Casey’s Girls U14 team who have qualified for the Feile finals in Cavan in June. Any REWEARABLE clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen, soft toys are accepted. Please drop off bags at the GAA complex on Sunday mornings, 10.30-11.30 am between now and the end of May.
