Renovations add a whole new experience to shopping at Jones’ Eurospar, Killorglin

-

THEY say a change is as good as a rest and the recent refurbishment at Jones’ Eurosapr in Killorglin certainly adds weight to this view. The whole purpose of the revamp is to create a better experience for the traditional trolley shopper and also the passing shopper who pops in to pick up a few essential items before rushing out the door again.

Being able to cater for these two types of customers has been one of the main challenges facing supermarkets in recent years as it’s all about facilitating ‘quick and easy’ shopping. Jones’ Eurospar have certainly met this challenge head on.

The revamp has been very well received and as with all innovative new projects, they invariably yield positive outcomes. Custom has increased since the revamp, which is a huge achievement for the design team, guided by Brian, Michelle and Shane who invested so much work; an increase in staff numbers is proof positive of a successful venture for Jones’ Eurospar. New projects also mean new approaches to quality fresh food and with a more expansive counter display now a feature, it gives customers a more extensive range of produce to choose from.

“The revamp project has been very well received by customers and we’re hoping in the weeks and months to come that more customers will discover what the store now has to offer. Overall, it’s been an exciting project and it makes it worthwhile when you see how customers are enjoying the benefits of it all,” said Store Manager, Shane Jones.
