DEATH

The death has occurred of Michael Walsh, Tullamore. Sympathy is extended to his brother, Joe, sisters, Anne and Rita, to their extended families, his relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Breda, parents, Cllr Eamon and Noreen and his brother, Kieran. The death has occurred of Máire Bean Uí Concubhair (née McEnery), Ballyouneen, Lisselton. Máire was a wonderful advocate of the Irish language throughout her life. Her career in teaching was in Ballyduff, her native townland. The Gaelscoil in Listowel was her idea and she fought long and hard with the committee to see the project embraced and brought to fruition. Sympathy is extended to her husband, Pat, her son, John, her daughters, Regina, Loreto and Patricia and to their extended families, her many friends and relatives. May they rest in peace.
