Ballydonoghue GAA are embarking on an exciting development of our clubhouse, renovating the existing building including new dressing rooms and showers, plus adding on a new all- purpose room and public toilets. The proposed development will cost approx. €250,000.
The club was established circa 1924. Thousands of players have played for the club since then, representing teams from under 8 to senior. We are proud of our contribution to the local area and the lives of people who have passed through the club. Over the past twenty years we have had tremendous success at under age level and we are current senior North Kerry Champions. We have had players selected to represent Kerry at all levels and we have had tremendous success at Scor. The club facilities are used by other organisations, groups and schools in the parish.
There are many expenses connected with running a club with more than 10 teams, but thanks to the people who buy and sell the Lotto tickets every week, we are generally able to meet the costs. The club is now appealing to everybody from the parish, at home and abroad, to support this project.
