GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto: 14-16-19-21. The Jackpot of €6,000 was not won; next week’s Jackpot will be €6,050. The two €50 winners were: Linda Godley, Ballylongane and Anne O’Connor, Church Road. The €25 winner was Ciaran Casey, Barr na Sraide, Ballyheigue.

SENIORS: The Ballyheigue senior hurlers were defeated by Abbeydorney in the Co. League on Friday evening. Score Ballyheigue 1-13 and Abbeydorney 120. UNDER 14: The U-14 hurlers lost to Kenmare/Kilgarvan in the Co. League final at Tralee on Friday evening. Having led by a point at half-time, the stronger Kenmare/Killgarvan team pulled away in the second-half and ran out winners. Score Ballyheigue 2--8 and Kenmare/ Kilgarvan 5-13. The Ballyheigue boys can now look forward to the Féile in Kilkenny on the week-end of June 16th. FIXTURES: North Kerry U-10 Hurling Blitz at Abbeydorney on Saturday morning 10.00am. Teams of 11 a-side. The Ballyheigue under 15 hurlers will travel to Mallow Co Cork, where they will represent Kerry in the Munster finals on Saturday.
