Premier wins for Samphires and Castleisland B

-

DENNY PREMIER A Dingle Bay Rovers 2 Fenit Samphires 3

THIS was a big game in the title race with Fenit needing to win to keep an outside chance of making the final alive and they came up trumps with a great 3-2 victory which keeps them in the title race with just one game to go against Killarney Celtic.

Dingle missed a late penalty in this game and the points dropped could be costly by the end of the season.

Donnacha Mc Garry, Chris Murphy and Jesse Stafford Lacey scored for the winners while Shane Houlihan and Gareth Hickey Brosnan scored for Dingle,

This win moves Fenit up to second a point behind Killarney Celtic but they have just one more league game left to play while the other title contenders have two games left.

DENNY PREMIER B Castleisland B 3 Camp United 1

CASTLEISLAND got past a potential banana skin on Sunday with a good win over Camp United which puts them within a whisker of qualifying for the league final.

If they win their final game of the season against CSKA Tralee they are guaranteed a place in the final but if they lose Castlegregory could pip them to the post

Meanwhile Mastergeeha and AC Athletic’s chances of making the final all hinge on the final game of the season when they meet each other at Kilbrean Park in a huge game that will define each sides season.

A draw will send AC to the final while a win for Mastergeeha will put them in the decider.
