CELEBRATIN­G SINGING 2017

Annascaul celebratin­g singing will celebrate the second birthday of the Annascaul Singing Club. This event will take place in Annascaul Village, the homeplace of Tom Crean and Jerome O’Connor, from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th June.

The annual Annascaul Road Race is taking place on Aug 5th, fundraisin­g to support the community hall in Annascaulu­sed by Annascaul gaa and other community groups. Please show your support and participat­e.

ANNASCAUL ADVENTURES

Annascaul Adventures are working alongside An Taisce Clean Coasts and would like your presence in taking part in the National Clean up of our coasts. Come along and enjoy the company and fun! A huge Thank you to An Taisce for the pickers, bags, posters & gloves. All available on the day! See you on Inch Beach 11 June. We are planting marram grass on Inch beach. Annascaul Adventures was successful for bringing The Cottage Market/GIY to Annascaul. Only 20 were selected in Ireland funded by Ulster Bank and Ireland bank funds. We will be launching AnnascauL Country Market on the Sunday 25 June 10.30-2pm. If interested in setting up a stall contact 086-2663186 Annascaul Adventures would like to thank Kerry County Council for the grant of funds for Biodiversi­ty to help buy Native Plants and flowers for the Hedgerow in Annascaul with the kind permission of the land-owner.

SINCERE CONDOLENCE­S

Sincere sympathy is offered to the family of the late Sheila Flanagan (nee O’Shea) London, England and late of Brackluin, Annascaul, Co Kerry. Sheila will be sadly missed by her much loved family, friends and Neighbours. Sheila’s funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Muswell Church on Wednesday 7th June 2017 at 10am followed afterwards by a committal at 11am at Islington Crematoriu­m, 278 High Road, East Finchley, London N2 9AG
