1. LISTOWEL TABLE QUIZ

FÍS na hÓige Production­s is a Listowel based, youth film making group, will be holding a fundraisin­g table quiz in John B Keane’s pub in Listowel tonight (Wednesday May 7) from 8pm onwards.

2. PREGNANCY INFORMATIO­N DAY

THERE will be a pregancy and informatio­n morning in the KDYS in Tralee on Friday June 9 from 10:30am onwards.

Questions on breastfeed­ing, childbirth and everything else will be taken on the day.

3. PEDAL IN THE PARK!

NATIONAL Bike Week runs from June 10 to June 18 and families in Kerry are encouraged to take part in organised cycles over the week.

The Tralee Cycle will take place on Friday June 16 at 7pm in both the Town Park and the canal - all informatti­on is available from the Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnershi­p Facebook page.

4. GET WALKING IN KILLARNEY

THE Killarney Walking Festival is set to take place this weekend from June 9 to June 11; a two-day walking programme is offered with hikes, treks and hill walks to suit all interests and abilities.

5. SPILLANE’S OPEN AIR CONCERT

SPILLANE’S bar in Castlegreg­ory are holding an open air concert on Saturday June 10 with funds from the concert going towards the Maharees Regatta.

The concert will start at 1opm and is one that promises to be a great night.

6. TIME AGAIN FOR DONAL’S 6K WALK

THE 2017 Donal Walsh Spa 6k Challenge will take place this Sunday June 11 at 11:30am.

Adult runners and walkers will cost €15 while secondary students and primary students will cost €10 and €5 respective­ly.

7. ROSE HOTEL IN BLOOM FOR BALL

THE Rose Hotel in Tralee will be staging of the ‘Mid-Summer Ball’ on Friday June 9.

Katie Hannon and Miriam O’ Callaghan will be kicking things off with a champagne reception starting at 7:30pm, followed by live music and a disco.

8. STAY AWAKE FOR INSOMNIA

RUNNING from June 9 to June 11, Insomnia Ireland is a unique event combining epic LAN Gaming Halls, Exhibition Halls, E-sports Tournament­s, Special Guests, and heaps of other cool stuff for both casual and seasoned gamers.

Tickets are available from the INEC website or through Ticketmast­er with both single day and Weekend passes available to buy, with prices starting from €27.25.

9. GET EXERCISING THIS SATURDAY

JUNE is here so why not try to head down to the Tralee Town Park this coming Saturday morning and take part in the weekly park run?

The 5km run/walk is free of charge and is a great way to start your weekend. The morning starts at 9:30am sharp every Saturday.

10. GET DANCING IN AID OF CHARITY

THE Chernobyl Children’s Fund in Tralee will host their weekly social dance nights in the Grand Hotel this month,.

The dances start at 9pm every Wednesday night the cost of entry for each night is set at €8.
