CONGRATULA­TIONS and well done to Amy O’Sullivan, of Kilfynny but plays her Camogie with the Cillard Camogie Club who won the National Under 14 Camogie Feile na nGael Skillstar in Abbotstown last Saturday, June 10. This a fantastic achievemen­t for Amy in what has been her third time representi­ng Kerry.

FEILE gets underway this coming weekend where County winners Causeway and Runners up Cillard head for Kilkenny on Friday June 16-18.

Causeway will be based in Kilmacow in Kilkenny. Their first game will take place will take place Friday at 4pm against Rathgarogu­e / Cushinstow­n who hail from Wexford venue for this game is Ballinbool­a, same venue they welcome Kiltegan of Wicklow at 6.15pm.

The girls then have an early start Saturday morning at 11.15 am where they play the host club Kilmacow of Kilkenny.

Saturday afternoon that’s when the quarter finals are fixed for 3pm while on Sunday the semi-finals and finals will take place so best of luck the Causeway camogie team along with their management team.

Cillard runners up will travel also on Friday morning early, their host club is Hugginstow­n / Carricksho­ck of Kilkenny will welcome them and their first game will be against Geraldine O’Hanrahans of Wexford at Hugginstow­n at 4.45pm, later in the evening in the same venue Donard The Glen from Wickow will be Cillard’s next opponents throw-in at 6.15pm, Saturday morning a bright and early start is on the cards for Cillard as they travel to Hugginstow­n to play host club Carricksho­ck of Kilkenny at 10.30am.

Saturday evening shield and Cup quarter-finals will take place at 3pm, Cup quarter-final at 4.30pm while on Sunday shield semi-finals will commence at 10am while Cup Semi Final 10.45am. Shield Final at 1 pm while Cup Final at 1.30pm.

The Feile Final is fixed Halo Tiles COE Ferns. Best of Luck to Cillard Camogie alongside their Management team.

WE would like to thank everyone who came to their open day they had a great turnout on Sunday morning despite the weather conditions.

New girls from Barraduff, Glenflesk, Knockanes, Rathmore and Gneeveguil­la were in attendance. It was great to see so many new faces as well as our regulars. Thanks to all the trainers who helped out and Barraduff Community Field Organisati­on for letting us use their pitch.

Training will continue in Dr Crokes for all ages at 6.15pm on Mondays.
