CAMOGIE: Congratula­tions to Cillard’s Amy O’Sullivan who won the All Ireland Féile skills competitio­n on Saturday in Dublin. This is a fantasic achievemen­t by Amy who came out on top against the most skillful under 14 camogie players in the country. This is a great boost for camogie in the county - it is the first time a Kerry girl has won the national title.

Best of luck to the Cillard U14 team who travel to the Féile finals being held in Carlow/Kilkenny/ Wexford this weekend. Cillard are in Group B of division 6 and will play Geraldine O’Hanrahans of Wexford, Donard the Glen of Wickllow and Carricksho­ck of Kilkenny in their opening games. The boys will play 2 matches on Friday evening and the final group game on Saturday morning. Quarter final on Saturday evening and should they progress Semi finals and final are on Sunday. Coiste na nÓgThe U13s commenced their North Kerry U13 B championsh­ip challenge on Tuesday evening 6th June against Tralee Parnells in Caherslee. A good win for the boys, final score Tralee Parnells 0-2 Kilmoyley 4-6.The U11 team played their final match in the North Kerry Group 1 competitio­n on Thursday evening 8th June at home against Crotta. While it was Crotta who lead at half time by 6 points and our back line and goalie were put through their paces, the team came back in the second half with great gusto to level the match by full time. Final score Kilmoyley 3-2 Crotta 1-6. A great performanc­e throughout the three matches by this team of boys and girls so well done to all involved.

U10: It was the turn of the U10s to show their skills on Saturday morning at the North Kerry U10 Hurling blitz. With 6 matches to play the boys and girls put in a great performanc­e against some strong competitio­n and won three of their matches. Well done to all involved and we are looking forward to the next U10 blitz which is scheduled for the 1st July.Cúl Camp: With summer holidays on the way, don’t forget the Kellogg’s G.A.A Cúl Camp which will be held in Kilmoyley the week 14th - 18 August. This is a great week of fun for children aged between 6 and 13.
