CONGRATULA­TIONS

to Fr. Pat Ahern on receiving a Doctorate from UCC, recently, he began in 1966 what was to become Siamsa Tire in 1991. Another Moyvane man John Moriarty was honoured at Seanchai with a lecture on June 8th 2017.

RAFFLE

To ensure that all have an opportunit­y to contribute to the painting fund we will have a Parish Raffle. We have lovely and wonderful prizes. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5. Draw will take place on the Parish celebratio­n day on Sunday July 16th in the Presbytery grounds.

Prayer Meeting takes place in Lixnaw Church on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from September to June inclusive commencing at 7.30pm. The June meeting will take place on Tuesday, the 19th. The witness will be given by Alec Quinn.

PROCESSION will take place after the 6.15pm Vigil Mass in St. Mary’s Church Listowel on Sat next 17th June. Glin Procession after 11am Mass on Sunday 18th.

“Rememberin­g Tom Donovan, poet and balladeer”- a night of poetry, story and song to mark the first anniversar­y of Tom’s death takes place in the Bridewell on Sat. 17th June at 7.30pm.
