Final meeting on Tuesday next June 20th at 7-30pm. The Padre Pio glove will be available for blessing and the witness for the final session for this term will be given by Alec Quilter from Belfast. Alec is a renowned ballad singer who will be doing all the singing on the night as well as telling his own amazing story. Not to be missed.

PROCESSION will take place on Sunday June 18th with Mass at 11-30am. Assemble at Boys school at 10-45 am and leave for Church at 11.00am. The First Communion children from the three parishes will process immediately in front of the banner.

ST MICHAELS WELL
ANNUAL HEALING SERVICE at the well will be celebrated again this year on Sunday June 25th at 3.00pm. The service includes the Anointing of the Sick, Blessing of Carers and reflection on the Healing points around the Well.

There was no winner of the 11th June lotto jackpot of €23,350 the numbers drawn were 4,7,8,24. The €35 was won by Eileen Browne, Scartaglin and the €20 was won by Jackie F O’Connor, firies. The four sets of free tickets for €23,500 Jackpot next week were won by Mikle Hussey, Ballyduff, Gerard Moloney, Kilflynn, Clare Sheehy, Knockalougha and Cara & Conor Mc Mahon, Lyre. The Whiskey was won by Joanie Kennelly, Rathea and the Voucher by Mary Dowling, Lyre.
DAY TRIP
Day trip to Inishboffin Sunday 18th June, 2017. We are going by ferry to the “Island of the White Cow” which is Inishboffin it is 7 miles from Clifden and we are going from Cleggan Pier this is a fishing village. Inishboffin is five by three miles long with five villages, West Quarter, Fawnmore, Middle Quarter, Cloonamore and Knock is a remnant of life long lost in other parts of Ireland. We have an early start as this is a long most beautiful journey travelling through Galway and rugged Connemara. Leaving Listowel at 6.45am. Abbeyfeale at 7am. and Newcastle West 7.30am. picking up en route. If you have free travel you will have a free passage on the ferry. If not cost €20 per adult and children €10. Everyone will have to pay €20 for the bus. Stop at Mother Hubbard’s where everyone will be responsible for their own food going and return journey.
