Bathrooms 4U provide clients with ‘Housing Adaptation Grant’ assistance
THE team at Bathrooms 4U now offer a first class service to people who qualify for the Housing Adaptation Grant. Increased government funding for this scheme comes as a welcome boost for elderly people and those with physical, sensory or intellectual disabilities whose homes require alterations to create better mobility and living standards.
Alan O’Sullivan, CEO and founder of Bathrooms 4U, said the scheme covers 90%- 95% of the actual cost of the works but many people are still unaware of these entitlements.
“We can help with the grant applications, so people don’t have to worry as we will help them every step of the way. We provide a wide range of re-vamp alternations from access ramps, mobility bathrooms, stair-lifts, and other modifications you may need,” said Alan.
Bathrooms4U give clients a no obligation free consultation in your home which is an important part of the process as sometimes people overlook additional modification features, while clients will also get the best advice when it comes to the type of home improvements they need.
Kerry recently received upwards of €2.2 million towards this scheme, with the local authority also supplying €440,000 from its own budget. This will make an invaluable contribution to people’s lives and grants are available up to of €30,000 for adaptations; up to €8,000 for housing aid for older people, and up to €6,000 for mobility aids.
“Bathrooms 4U have a solid background in the construction sector and we will carry out all home alterations that come under the remit of the scheme. In short, we provide better options for people as part of this scheme,” Alan added.
