Nine Kerry properties to go under the hammer at July Allsop auction
KERRY properties are well represented at the July Allsop online auction which takes place on July 5 and 6. Nine properties from across the county will go under the hammer and are expected to receive plenty of attention with properties located in some key tourist destinations. Mostly located in the north, south and east of the county, the properties represent a good cross-section of residential, holiday and commercial units.
For starters, two properties in the ‘Sand Dune Cottages’ area of Banna in north Kerry, both with the reserve price range of between €35,000 – €45,000 each. Both cottages (numbers 23 and 25) are detached three bedroom cottages, extending to approximately 93 sq. m (1,001 sq. ft). Allsop’s description said they are both subject to a rent pooling scheme at a current rent of €7,000 per annum.
Staying in north Kerry, number 6 ‘Sli Na Speire’, Clieveragh, Listowel, has a reserve price range of between €130,000 and €140,000. This vacant detached four bedroom house, extends to approximately 199 sq. m (2,142 sq. ft). A short drive away in Pallas, Lixnaw, perspective buyers will find a detached property that requires completion with a reserve price range of between €70,000 and €80,000. This home is located 5km from Lixnaw Village and extends to approximately 199 sq. m (2,142 sq. ft) on a site extending to approximately 0.29 hectares (0.71 acres).
In Castleisland, a prime retail property is on the market at numbers 85/87 Main Street with a reserve price range of between €550,000 and €600,000. This town centre investment comprises of retail and warehouse accommodation, extending to approximately 1,298 sq. m (13,972 sq. ft), in total. It has one retail unit let to Rossacussane Holdings Limited t/a Centra with a lease expiry to 2032. Another retail unit/ warehouse is occupied by an individual t/a Expert Electrical under terms unknown. Current rent reserved is €52,000 per annum.
Also in Castleisland, at 58 Main Street, a property with a reserve not to exceed €50,000 is on the market. Meanwhile, in Killarney, an office investment opportunity exists at Ivy House, New Street Car Park, New Street, with a reserve price range of €350,000 and €370,000.
