Donacha Sayers, Dan O Brien, Ryan Downey, and Aaron Mc Elligott. 3 Munster Schoolboy Championship titles: Ryan Downey, Aaron McElligott, and Donacha Sayers. 1 Munster Schoolgirl Championship title: Kori Goad. 1 National Schoolboy title: Donacha Sayers. 1 National Senior Novice Silver medallist: Kevin Cronin. 1 National Schoolboy Silver medallist: Aaron McElligott. 1 National Junior Competition winner: Kori Goad. 1 National Junior Cadet Silver Medallist: Aaron McElligott. ----------And we have every confidence that we will be adding to this roll of honour before the end of 2017.

MEN’S SHED
Our workshop is continuing to produce high quality bird, bat and flowerboxes as well as outside steps and decking for mobile and holiday homes etc, we are also available for all furniture refurbishment and general repairs at very low prices.We appreciate the support of the community, we are open daily from 10am-4pm or contact 087 6566507.
We urge all readers to view the u-tube short video which was made recently by the Tralee Men’s shed to get a better understanding of the work that we do.The mobile HSE vehicle which provides a health check will be available at the Men’s shed on Men’s Health Week is from 12th -18th of June next and the theme for 2017 is,’ It;s all about him’ and ‘How are you doing?’. It’s purpose is to heighten awareness of preventable health problems in males of all ages, to support men and boys to engage in healthier lifestyle choices, to encourage early detection and treatment of health difficulties in males.
Men,s sheds have issued a 32 page manual,’ Challenges and Choices’ and it is available through the local shed.
Men on average die 4-5 years younger than women, men have higher death rates than women for all leading causes of death, poor lifestyle’s are responsible for a high proportion of chronic diseases and late presentation to health services leads to a large number of problems becoming untreatable. Our workshop is very busy and we require the services of experienced carpenters urgently, call in and have a chat with our members,we are open daily from 10am-4pm.
The next meeting of the local shed is at 11am on Tuesday, of May.Monday/ Tuesday,19th/20th of June,everybody is welcome.
The Men’s shed are looking for carpenters, as the workshop is very busy.
