COMMUNITY GAMES
Moyvane / Knockanure U 13 girls, won the Community Games indoor Munster Final on Sat. 1st July 2017. The girls beat Clare in the semi-final and Limerick in the final.
Congratulations also to Aoidean Larkin and Jack O’Connor on winning silver medals in the U8 60m Girls and Boys races in the Kerry Community Games Athletics Finals held at An Riocht track on Saturday and Sunday June 24th and 25th.
LOCAL FILMMAKER
Local filmmaker Gerard Barrett’s latest feature film Limbo will have its World Premiere at the 29th Galway Film Fleadh. Limbo will premiere Saturday July 15th, 2017 at Galway Film Fleadh at 6pm in the Town Hall Theatre. The film tells the intimate story of a mother and daughter in Ireland as they battle homelessness in emergency accommodation over 24 hours.
