There was no winner of the 2nd July lotto jackpot of €23,800 the numbers drawn were 2,7,15,27. The €35 was won by Connor O’Donoghue, Brennaugh and the €20 was won by Yvonne Carmody, Duagh . The four sets of free tickets for €23,950 Jackpot next week were won by John Sullivan, Bunaghara, Tracey Broderick, Scartaglin, John Sullivan Bunaghara and Eddie Hickie Listowel.

FAMILY FUN DAY

Lyreacromp­ane Community Developmen­t will host a Family Fun Day for all on Saturday 15th July at 3p.m. in Lyreacromp­ane Resource Centre and Community field. Free Admission. Events include Races for all ages, Obstacle Course, Wellington Throwing for Adults and Children, Penalty Shoot Out, Bubble Soccer, Face Painting, Long Jump and much much more. Also BBQ, Ice Cream Van and Disco. The Fun will continue that night in the Four Elms Bar, with music by “Moses Bridge”. Transport provided locally.

TRIP

Sunday 16th July, 2017. West Cork. The Ewe experience is Ireland’s only interactiv­e and interpreta­tive Garden World, a sculpture garden in a waterfall oasis, a wonderful combinatio­n of nature, art, and natural history.

There is something for everyone especially people who love gardens, exploring and adventure. Those who wish to take a break can visit the café for a cuppa and refreshmen­ts. The suggested time to see all of this garden, reading the inscriptio­ns and informatio­n is two hours.

We will be picking up passengers in Listowel, Abbeyfeale, Newcastle West, Snow’s Cross, & Rourke’s Cross.

We had a fabulous trip on Sunday to Inishboffi­n 55 people sailed on a lovely comfortabl­e ferry on very calm waters. We visited a beautiful unspoilt part of our magnificen­t country.
