Cillard

ON Saturday next the Cillard Under 10s travel to Banteer to take part in a blitz. Hope the girls enjoy the day and pick up some skills. Busy time for them as they played three matches at the recent blitz in Killarney.

Under 8 and Under 6s training Friday at 6.45pm and Under 12 training Wednesday evening at 6.45pm. In the Under 12 County League Cillard face Killarney on Friday July 29 at 6.45pm in Killarney.

Killarney

A VERY successful Under 8 and Under 10 blitz was ran by Killarney last Saturday morning in Barraduff Community Field.

They had a very good turnout from Cillard Camogie Club, Millstreet Camogie Club, Mallow Camogie Club, Banteer Camogie Club and Tralee Parnell’s Camogie. They got to witness the skill that is present in both counties. Keep up the good work girls, ye were superb!

A big thanks to Barraduff Community Field Organisation for letting Killarney Camogie Club use their excellent facilities. Thanks to all clubs who participated and made it a great success also to the parents who helped with serving and providing the food without them, there would be no club.

Training continues in Legion GAA pitch on Mondays from 6 – 7pm and Thursdays in Barraduff Community Field from 7-8pm.

Causeway

CAUSEWAY have added an extra night for Under 12 training (girls born 2005, 2006, 2007).

Camogie training will now take place on Monday evenings from 6 to 7pm as well as Friday’s from 6.30 to 7.30pm. This will hopefully encourage more girls to come along and give camogie a try during the summer holidays.

Helmet and hurley will be provided. €2 please. Everyone welcome.

Tralee Parnells

TRALEE Parnell’s gave an outstanding performance against Cillard on Saturday last. Well done girls. Also Thanks to John Sheehan from Cillard Camogie Club for putting together a sporting match for our Under 14 / Under 12 mixed squad.
