Therer was no jackpot winner in last week’s Mountcollins AFC lotto where the numbers drawn were 14 15 23 28. The winners in the lucky dip draw ewre Margaret Kelly, Brosna; Thomas Collins, Mountcollins; John Lyons, Mountcollins; Karl Ryan, c/o Kostal and Micheal Linehanb, Mountcollins. The promoters prize went to Brendan Audsley.

This week’s jackpot will be €7100.

PARISH OUTING

RECENT WEDDING

Congratulations and best wishes to Patrick Brosnahan, Knockane, Mountcollins, and Helen Casey, Meeng, Rockchapel who were married in St Peters Church on Saturday last. Family, neighbours and friends from home and abroad joined the happy couple for a wonderful days celebrations at the wedding reception in the Devon Inn. We wish Helen and Patrick many years of happiness in their new home in Rockchapel.

GAA FIXTURE

Mountcollins will play Athea on this Friday night in the Co Intermediate football championship. The game is fixed for Abbeyfeale at 7pm.

RECENT DEATHS

Sympathy is extended to the family of Nellie Lynch, Meenkilly, Abbeyfeale who was buried in Mountcollins cemetery after requiem Mass in Abbeyfale last week.

Sympathy is also extended to Roy Shortt, Low Road, Mountcollins on the death of his mother in England.

Also to the relatives of Connie Lgyons, late of Rockhill, Rockchapel and London whose remains were interred in Mountcollins last week.

May they rest in peace.

GAA LOTTO

The numbers drawn in last week’s Mountcollins/Tournafulla GAA clubs lotto were 4 6 19 26. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. The winners in the lucky dip draw were Eoin Lenihan, Tournafulla; Carol Larkin, Templeglantine; Dylan Lenihan, Cork and Margaret Ann Scanlon.

The winner of the promoters prize was Mike Sheehy. This week’s jackpot will be €3200.
