St Brendans qualify for the county semi-finals

The Garvey’s SuperValu Kerry senior hurling championship Round 3 replay on Sunday last resulted in a one-point win for St. Brendan’s over Abbeydorney, 1-22 to 2-18, after extra time. Draw for the championship semi-finals: St. Brendan’s v Lixnaw and Kilmoyley v Ballyduff.
The County Senior Hurling League Division 1 final between Lixnaw and Ballyduff did not go ahead last weekend.
Kerry and Wicklow U-21s will play in Semple Stadium
The Kerry U-21 hurlers meet Wicklow in the final of the All-Ireland ‘B’ championship (Ritchie McElligott Cup) on Saturday, September 9. Venue will be Semple Stadium, Thurles, where there will be a 1pm throw-in. It will be followed by the All-Ireland Under-21 final between Limerick and Kilkenny and both games will be televised live on TG4.
Hurling Fixtures confirmed by CCC
The Hurling fixtures schedule for the remainder of the year was approved at the County CCC Meeting on Monday evening with the senior hurling semi-finals fixed for Sunday, September 24 and the final fixed for October 8.

In the Preliminary Round of the County Minor hurling championship, Lixnaw had a 2-14 to 1-9 win over Ballyduff to qualify for a quarter final meeting with Crotta. The remaining quarter-final ties are: Ballyheigue v St. Brendan’s; South Kerry v Causeway and Kilmoyley v Abbeydorney/Tralee Parnell’s
County Intermediate & Junior Championships
In semi-final of the County Junior Hurling Championship on Sunday last, Duagh had a 2-13 to 2-4 win over St. Pat’s (East Kerry). They will now meet Lady’s Walk in the final at Caherslee on Saturday next (time to be confirmed).
St. Brendan’s and Kilgarvan will contest the final of the 2017 County Intermediate Hurling Championship Final [Corn Antóin Ó Murchú] on September 9 in Lewis Road.
