NO ALL IRELAND THIS YEAR

Saturday last was a bad day all around for Kerry G.A.A. players, official and supporters alike. The first disappointment came from within the confines of Croke Park where our Senior Team went down to Mayo by 5pts.

Then came the heartbreak of seeing the Kerry Senior Ladies losing out in their All Ireland Semi Final to Dublin on the scoreline Dublin 5-10 Kerry 0-11 but it must be remembered that Dublin entered the game carrying the favourites tag having lost a number of All Ireland finals over the last number of years.

But well done to Tim Kennelly who serves as a selector on the team and also Niamh Carmody daughter of Raymond and Geraldine from Ballymackessy and to Graham Shine their manager from Listowel Emmets and other players from North Kerry on the panel Miriam O’ Keefe Finuge/ St Senans, Sophie Lynch Listowel Emmets, Aisling Leonard, Lorraine Scanlon and Labhaoise Walmsley of Desmonds and indeed everybody involved we compliment you all.
