Clanmaurice hold off Ballymac Celtic for win

THIS was a tight game played in windy conditions at Mounthawk and Clanmaurice just pipped Ballymac Celtic at the post. Clanmaurice went ahead just before half time with a well taken goal.

Ballymac came out with all guns blazing and they equalised with a fantastic goal by Lasmin Gheorghe finding the top corner of the net from 25 yards.

Clanmaurie forged ahead again with a well taken goal and despite their best efforts Ballymac were unable to get an equaliser and were denied by the woodwork late in the game.

Ballybunion 0 Classic FC B 1

A TURN up for the books here with Classic FC defeating Ballybunion one of the favourities to make it to the league final in this division. The crucial goal that won the game was scored by Maxwell Mugabe.

CS Clochainn Breannainn 2 Sneem Santos 1

SNEEM Santos returned to the KDL and went down to CS Clochainn Breannainn in tight game. Their goal was scored by John P O’Sullivan while Donal Kennedy scored both of CS Clochainn Breannain goals.
