SSE AIRTRICITY U-15 LEAGUE
Kerry SBGL 3 Waterford FC 1
KERRY notched up their first win of the season at Mounthawk Park on Saturday with a very impressive victory over Waterford. Despite playing against a gale in the first half they were in control of the game and were creating good scoring opportunities.
They went ahead after six minutes when Colin Walsh and Sean McGrath linked up to put in Leo Gaxha and he applied a great finish. It got better just past the half hour mark when they doubled their lead with a Sean McGrath goal. However, just before half time and Waterford pulled a goal back.
Kerry made sure of victory just to minutes from full time with an exquisitely chipped goal by Gaxha.
