The National Ploughing Championships will be held next week 19th to 21st September in Screggan, Tullamore, County Offaly. Abbeydorney Ploughing Society wishes the best of luck to all the Kerry competitors and especially our own Tommy McCarthy Ballylahive who will be competing on Tuesday 19th in the Intermediate Reversible Class which he won and brought all Ireland Honours to the Parish in 2015. Ploughing Competitions start at 10.30am and finish at 14.30pm daily.
