The numbers drawn in last week’s Mountcollins AFC lotto were 3 20 24 25. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. The winners in the lucky dip draw were Mags McAuliffe, c/o Kostal; Michael O’Connor, Brosna; Kieran and Michelle Flannery, Dromtrasna, Abbeyfeale; Jimmy and Leonra Kelly, Brosna and Jack Faughnan, c/o Willie McAuliffe, Brosna. The promoters prize went to Evan Lacy. This week’s jackpot will be €1100.

CHURCH BLESSING

We now have two magnificent churches in the parish with the recent refurbishment of the Church of the Assumption here in Mountcollins and St Patricks Church in our sister parish of Tournafulla.

On next Saturday evening, Sept 16, Bishop Michael Lenihan will officiate at the blessing and thanksgiving Mass in Tournafulla at 6.30pm
