TIDY TOWNS

The rockeries at Maple Grove are now fully structured and planted. Many thanks to Templeglantine Tidy Towns members who helped the residents to complete the project. The estate looks very well with the many floral displays at various houses. Well done to all involved. The results of the national competition will be announced this month and hopefully we will gain a few extra marks in the areas of litter control, improvements on the approach roads and improvements to residential street, business and housing areas.

COMHALTAS

There was a good turnout last week at the enrolment for the new season of Comhaltas music classes at Halla Inse Bhán . All beginners on the various instruments had their first class on Monday evening last at 6.30pm. Pupils of previous years will return on Mondaynext, September 18, at the same class times as last year.
