Finals of club championships drawing close
Castleisland Mart Intermediate Club Championship Semi-final
THE second semi-final of the Castleisland Mart Intermediate Club Championship, between Templenoe and Laune Rangers will take place on this Saturday in Fitzgerald Stadium at 3pm.
Templenoe have defeated Waterville and last year’s Junior champions, Glenbeigh-Glencar on their way to the semi-final while Laune Rangers surprised neighbours Milltown-Castlemaine in the opening round and followed that with a three point defeat of Glenflesk in the quarter-finals.
We are in for an intriguing game before An Ghaeltacht’s opponents in the final are known. Patrons should note that the throw in time for this game has been brought forward to 3pm.

DROMID Pearses will have to wait until Saturday, September 30 to find out who their opponents will be in the Castleisland Mart Junior Premier Club Championship final. On that date, Firies will play Na Gaeil in the second semi-final.

LISTRY qualified to play Castlegregory in the Castleisland Mart Junior championship final following a heard earned 1-9 to 0-10 victory over Lispole at Strand Road on Saturday evening last. A goal by Joe Clifford after ten minutes of the game was the decisive score.
Castleisland Mart Novice Championship
MOYVANE have qualified for the Castleisland Mart Novice Championship final following a 2-10 to 0-13 victory over Sneem-Derrynane at Austin Stack Park on Saturday last.
In the other side of the draw, Kilgarvan play Cromane in Round 1 on this Sunday at 2:30 and the winners there will play Scartaglen in the semi-final on September 30.
