COISTE NA NÓG:The season has drawn to a close for a number of age groups however there were still some matches to be played this week.

The U12 hurlers finished their season in style at home to Crotta on Friday night. This team has gone from strength to strength all summer and this showed as they were crowned winners of Division 1 Hurling League Stage 2. Well done to all involved.

The U16 hurlers were the only other team in action this week when they drew with Lixnaw at home on Saturday in the North Kerry U16 Championsh­ip. SENIOR HURLING: Sunday next is “D” Day for our Senior hurlers when they face Kilmoyley in the semi final of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Championsh­ip. Kilmoyley have shaded the last few battles but hopefully come next Sunday Ballyduff can reverse the trend. Please come along and support the Boys in Green.Throw in is at 3.45pm in Austin Stack Park.Poo on the Pitch: Vera the cow is kicking into action on this Saturday September 23rd and you can buy a ticket for €10 to be in with a chance of Winning €1,000. Ballyduff Sportsfiel­d will be marked into sections and if Vera poops in your numbered section then You win the prize. There are also hampers as runner up prizes and a Yearly subscripti­on to the Ballyduff GAA Club Lotto. This is a Family Fun Day and there will be a BBQ and Games for all the family at 2.30pm and all are welcome.
