SEAT Ireland achieves 17% sales increase for August

SUMMER 2017 has ended with SEAT claiming another month of stellar results for SEAT Ireland.

August figures showed an increase of 17% in year on year sales for the brand. SEAT Ireland’s performanc­e in the Irish market is ahead of the brand’s overall global success which saw deliveres up 14% (315,100 vehicles) YTD (2016: 277,100), 38,000 more than in the same period last year.

Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland commented, “We are thrilled to see yet another month of strong sales results for SEAT. Our results further reflect SEAT’s growing popularity in the Irish market and are testament to our product offensive.

“The Frankfurt Motor Show is yet another exciting chapter in our largest ever product offensive with the world premiere of the all-new SEAT Arona, SEAT’s second SUV.

“These excellent results are the fruits of the labour of our entire team at SEAT, our outstandin­g dealer network across Ireland and our commitment to continuous­ly offering high quality products at affordable prices.”

This week SEAT is landing at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the world premiere of the all-new Arona, the brand’s latest addition to its biggest ever product offensive, which follows in the footsteps of the Ateca, the Leon and the Ibiza, which were all launched in the past 18 months.

In addition, SEAT will also be presenting the exclusive Leon CUPRA R, which is a limited edition of only 799 units of the brand’s most powerful car.
